Our background

CMC Contrast AB (Copenhagen Malmö Contrast AB) was established in April 2000 to develop an invention by professor Henrik Thomsen at Copenhagen University Hospital in Herlev, Denmark. It was founded by two main owners: Malmöhus Invest AB and Øresund - Healthcare Capital KS. In December 2007 the venture capital company Sunstone Capital joined as a new investor in CMC Contrast AB.

The pre-clinical as well as the clinical research and development process have been conducted in close cooperation with several international key opinion leaders in the field of contrast media.
