For safety and efficacy in targeted abdominal MR Imaging

CMC Contrast seeks Scientific Advice at EMEA

Posted April 21, 2009 by CMC Contrast

CMC-001, the non-gadolinium based oral contrast agent for liver MRI, enters into the finale development phase, and the plans for the clinical phase III program will now be discussed with EMEA. CMC Contrast will consult the SAWP (Scientific Advice Working Party) and the first meeting will take place in April. According to Thomas Grönberg, Director of Business Development this is an important milestone for CMC Contrast. “A close dialogue with the health authorities is very important to CMC Contrast, and we believe that this type of consultation with EMEA will increase the likelihood of success for CMC-001”, explains Thomas Grönberg. CMC-001 is expected to be introduced in the marked by the end of 2012.
