CMC-001 has successfully passed two important milestones

At a recent Scientific Advice at EMA in London the agency has concluded that no further non-clinical studies are needed. This means that the non-clinical development program for CMC-001 has successfully been completed.

Another important milestone was reached with the recent finalization of the phase IIb clinical development. In this phase the dose-response relationship for CMC-001 has been established and the final dose for the phase III development program has been selected.

After these two important milestones have been passed the last obstacle is cleared for the targeted liver-specific contrast agent, CMC-001, to enter into phase III clinical studies.
